This unusable and steep backyard was terraced with Sandstone Boulders creating manageable gardens, and an upper paved area which took full advantage of the river views

Textured concrete paved pathways connect the deck and main outdoor spaces, chosen as they work well with both large curves and straight lines. Their non-slip surface providing a safe entry to the property, bordered with Native Grasses to soften the edges.

In the front a rough-faced sandstone ballast garden edging compliments the 50mm sawn-sandstone letterbox capped. Sandstone boulders were utilised to create an economical terrace, providing transition between adjoining levels and gardens. The native gardens feature the beautiful Xanthorrea Australis (Grass Trees).
