The homeowners were after a low-maintenance garden design with lots of open space for the grandchildren to run around in and interesting places to explore. While having large areas of lawn was important, so too was screening the house from the main road it faces. An emphasis was also placed on utilising the large amount of fill cut out from the backyard and swimming pool –levelling up the front of the block.
The open spaces are turfed, providing a soft surface for children’s play, and the garden was designed with curves to make it easy for the owners to use their ride-on mower.

Feature Elements for Living Outdoor Spaces.
The charcoal-coloured concrete, used in the driveway and pathway areas, blends into the landscape. A Merbau Timber deck provides a place to sit out in the sun as well as a link between the swimming pool and the covered alfresco area. Lighting placement were designed to feature trees in the front garden and transform the outdoor spaces.
+ Designer Planting
Garden Design to match lifestyle.
Planting was specifically designed for screening, cover and variety – creating interest as you progress from front to back. The use of various types of mixed callistemon creates a more natural look as each will grow to a different height and, once established, the area will be a place the grandchildren can discover and enjoy. In addition, all gardens and lawn areas are backed up with an automated irrigation system designed to deliver the water needs of the garden whatever the season.
